  • Dalhousie:  Dalhousie is a popular Himachal Pradesh hill station with views of the snow-capped peaks of the Dhauladhar ranges. Dalhousie is well-known for its beautiful meadows, dense jungles, and waterfalls. It is particularly popular with honeymooners and families on vacation.

  • Panjhphulla: Panchpula, located 3.5 kilometres from Gandhi Chowk in Dalhousie, is a popular picnic spot surrounded by green pine and deodar trees. It is best known for the Saptdhara Waterfall, which serves as the starting point for the Ganji Pahari trek, as well as activities such as ziplining and the Burma Bridge.

  • Kalatop Forest Reserve: The name Kalatop means "black cap," referring to the dense, black forest cover on the sanctuary's highest hilltop. It is known to be rich in flora and fauna and is located a few kilometres from the Chamba dam and Chamera reservoir on the Ravi river. Hundreds of small freshwater streams drain into the Ravi River to the north of the sanctuary.

  • Dainkhund:  With an elevation of 2755 metres, the peak provides a bird's eye view of Dalhousie's breathtaking verdant valleys and mountains. Dainkund Peak is worth exploring for nature lovers looking for peace and quiet.

  • Khajjiar: also known as the "mini-Switzerland of India," is a small town located close to Dalhousie (20 kilometres) and is ideal for a day or overnight trip. Khajjiar is famous for its picturesque grassy meadows. There is a small lake in the middle of the meadow where you can relax or participate in adventure sports such as paragliding, zorbing, and horseback riding.

  • Jot: is one of the highest altitude tourist destinations in Chamba and is located on the Pathankot-Nurpur-Chowari-Chamba stretch. During the winter months, it remains covered in thick snow and is closed to vehicles. The route reopens in the summer, but because it is less commercialised, it is not overrun with tourists. It's a primaeval stretch, ideal for those who enjoy exploring the unknown.

  • Rock View Garden:  Dalhousie's Rock Garden is a lovely garden and a popular picnic spot. Aside from relaxing and revitalising in the park, you can also try one of the many adventure sports available in the area, such as zip lining.

  • Chamera Lake: The Chamba Lake is a man-made reservoir for the Chamba Dam, located near Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba District. It is a popular picnic and boating spot. The lake can be explored by speed boat or rowboat, and activities such as kayaking and canoeing can be enjoyed.

  • Sach Pass: The Sach Pass connects Dalhousie to the remote valleys of Chamba and Pangi. It is a mountain pass 150 kilometres from Dalhousie that runs over the Pir Panjal Mountain range and is one of the most difficult passes to cross in north India.

  • Chamba: This mediaeval town, just a short distance from Dalhousie, is set against a stunning backdrop of stunning hills and a flowing pristine river, and it has an alluring charm relating to the mystical temples and local folklore.
